Nia Lancelin
Nia Lancelin is a choreographer, dance educator, and founder of THRIVE Artists’ Mental Health Group, an organization dedicated to supporting artists at the intersection of creativity and wellness. With more than 25 years of experience across stage, television, film, and education, Nia has built a career defined by artistry, advocacy, and community care.
Her choreography is known for its fierce physicality, emotional depth, and storytelling power, drawing audiences into narratives that are both personal and universal. As an educator, she integrates wellness practices into dance training, fostering spaces where students can strengthen not only their technique but also their mental resilience.
Through THRIVE, Nia expands this mission, offering classes, workshops, and resource support — including food and clothing pantries — to help artists sustain their craft and their wellbeing. Her work continues to push the boundaries of what it means to live, create, and heal through movement.
